We offer programmes especially for our junior members in the summer and the winter. These programmes are ideally suited to:
We offer two programmes especially for our junior members: summer children’s athletics for 5 to 14 year olds, and coached running training for 10 to 19 year olds.
In the winter we have cross country training for primary aged children to intermediate and college age plus. You’re not too young at 5 years old as we have fun running activities for this younger age group. We also have a range of group training sessions for kids who want to train for their school cross country season, or take part in interclubs, or just keep fit for their other sports. Many of our young athletes take part in other sports as well such as football, rugby, hockey, tennis, cricket and so on. Athletics and harriers help develop an essential fitness base for all sports. So some along and give it a go. We’re a friendly and family focused club with training programmes, club days and various competitions to suit all ages and levels of interest.
