Summer coaching form

Our main club training night is Tuesday afternoons/evenings at Alex Moore Park.
However we also run additional children’s athletics coaching for the younger kids and middle distance running training for juniors aged 1019, for those who want additional fitness or skills training.
These sessions are ideally suited to:
- in summer, athletes who want to train for athletics or develop a fitness base for winter harriers
- those who want to improve their running for school events and competitions
- those who want to stay fit for other sports, like football, rugby and hockey.
Summer training (October to March)
Juniors aged 10–19
If you are aged 10 and older and would like specialist middle distance running training, then join our coaching groups with Juan McDonald (10 to 13s) and Alistair Leslie (13 and older) on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
- Tuesdays at Tawa College:
- 10 to 13 with Juan: 4.30pm to 5.00pm
- 13+ group 1 with Juan and Alistair: 5.00pm to 5.30pm
- 13+ group 2 with Alistair: 5.30pm to 6.00pm
- Thursdays at Grenada North Park:
- All ages with Juan and Alistair: 4.20pm to 5.00pm Note the change in time!
Seniors are also welcome.
There are extra fees for these training sessions. Please sign up using our
summer coaching form.
Seniors and masters
- Tuesdays 6.00pm to 7.00pm at Olympic clubrooms (Alex Moore Park) or Newtown Park
Winter training (March to October)
Primary and Intermediate school-aged juniors
- Tuesdays 4.00pm to 5.00pm at Alex Moore Park
- Thursdays 4.20pm to 5.00pm at Grenada North Park (all juniors)
Secondary school-aged and older juniors
- Tuesdays 5.00pm to 5.45pm at Alex Moore Park
- Thursdays 4.20pm to 5.00pm at Grenada North Park (all juniors)
Seniors and masters
- Tuesdays 6.00pm at Olympic clubrooms (Alex Moore Park)
